More Birthday cake

It was her Daddy's birthday yesterday.

The Bean sang happy birthday to herself first, then to her daddy, then to me.

And there was cake








Is there anything as cute as a baby dear with cake? Do you remember enjoying cake this much?
I had a dream in which the mother of us all came to me laughing and said "you have a motto now for being a mommy."
"I do?"
"Yes," she said "and it is a good one. Messes can be cleaned up."


This is our theory. I never every thought I'd be this way, being the neat freak that I am, but there you go.
