Stupid blogger won't let me use blogdesk. Argh. Go there, see the Beany goodness.
Maybe it is time to move off of blogger.
Updates on and doings of Emily The Bean

A most adorable morning watching cartoons.
Girl cats are usually not too affectionate, but Bean has special powers
The Bean enjoys legos. She has decided she needs the "big kid" legos like they have at her after school program.
She likes legos more than dolls I think.

I realize I haven't been keeping this up and I feel horrible about it. Explanations are at my blog http://pywacket.org/wordpress.
There will be more forthcoming.
The Bean organized a talent show which was...interesting. There was a sword fight, a comic, she sang, a dance and other bits. It was of course adorable. Every year the kids put something together for us. Usually a parade, now it is a talent show.

Here's she goes to school! 2nd grade, how did that happen so fast? It makes me happy and sad at the same time. Happy that she's growing up so smart, kind and beautiful and sad that the time goes by much quicker than you think it would.
Can you see how much we like the faire? Em knows to say "Huzzah" and "God Save the King," and of course to curtsy when granted an audience!
Every year (this would be the third now!) we drive up to Muskogee to go to the Castle Fair in May. It's full of very kind people who take time with the kids, which makes us all very happy.
Only about the sweetest picture ever taken. This young gentleman was part of the faire and encouraged Em to try a Maypole dance. He was very sweet and she was very determined. I think our heads exploded at the cuteness.
Haru has a sweet nap with her Mama Bean. She and Bart like to snuggle up with the girl and have a nice long snooze.
Oh but it has been a while hasn't it? There has been so much going on. The end of first grade, going up to the juniors class in Tae Kwon Do, summer camp and a visit to California.
The Bean's cute new haircut. She pretty much designed it herself. She calls herself a "tomboy girly girl," because she likes a lot of the same stuff the boys do (spooky things, video games) but would rather wear skirts and dresses.
The Bean still loves dressing up. I hope she does for a good long time. Here she's wearing the very first Halloween outfit (a princess dress and cape made for her by her Uncle Matt) that was of course much too big for a baby but worked somehow anyway. She's worn this outfit 3 out of her 6 Halloweens :-) She was also wearing one of my old cloche hats.
